Our Team

Dr. Nemtean graduated from McGill University in 1980 and has been a physician at Apple HIlls since 1983. Dr. Nemtean is another one of our physicians who graduated before some of our staff were born!

FAMILY PHYSICIAN Dr. Lau joined Applehills Medical Associates in 2010. He graduated from medical school in 1997 and completed his family medicine residency in 1999, both at the University of Toronto. In his spare time, Dr. Lau tries to keep up with his kids and enjoys cycling and skiing.

FAMILY PHYSICIAN Dr. Mackintosh joined Apple Hills Medical Associates in 1989. He graduated from medical school at the University of Alberta in 1984 and finished his Family Practice residancy in 1986 at the University of Western Ontario. From 2011 to 2017 Dr. Mackintosh served  on the Summerville Board of Directors , for 3 years as Chairman.  He has been the  Lead Physician of Summerville since 2018. 

Dr. Phebe Shenouda is a graduate of Alexandria University Faculty of Medicine.  She received her designation in Family Medicine in 2007 & Fellowship in 2018 from the College of Family Physicians of Canada.  She has been practicing as a Family Physician in Winnipeg, Manitoba for more than 15 years.

Dr. Shenouda recently relocated to Ontario for family reasons.  She joined Summerville Family Health Team working at Apple Hills Medical Associates since April, 2022 providing care to Dr. Wayne's patients.
